• What does it look like to joyfully give your life to God only to take it back when life begins to unravel around you? Diane Lowery delves into this question as she takes us through her charmed adolescence where she was grounded in her love for Christ and surrounded by a family living out the daily truth of the Gospel. As she grows in physical maturity and moves into adulthood, desires for a happy, unfettered life start to encroach on her commitment to Christ and soon take precedence over her love for Jesus. Ultimately, finding the subtle steps have led her far from her original path of following God’s will, Diane finds herself broken and at a crossroads where she rediscovers her faith by immersing herself in the biblical truths recorded in Scripture.
  • A Study Through Galatians

Following on her book, Views from the Balcony – Things I’ve Seen, Things I’ve Learned, Diane takes us on a journey through Paul’s letter written to the church at Galatia. This beautiful New Testament book presents for us all the meaning of grace and why it is so vitally important for every human being to understand it and apply it to their lives.  It provides the foundation to the answers to three critical questions; who am I, why am I here, and what am I supposed to do with my life.  All of these answers must begin with the understanding of God’s grace.  Because once you understand all that He has done for you, you are left with a compelling reason to live your life with a fulfilled, and grateful heart that propels a sense of reason and purpose. In this book, we not only can glean from the poignancy of the overall letter but find reasons to believe that what we read can be believed.  Views from the Balcony – A Seeker Finds GRACE is the declaration of independence for the believer.  Understanding freedom in Christ brings accessibility to an abundant life.  And isn’t that what we all are seeking?
  • A Study Through Ephesians

Diane was out to answer three questions; who am I, why am I here, and what am I supposed to do with my life.  There was no doubt in her mind that the answers would be found in God’s Word.  So in March of 2009, she set out on a journey to read and study the entire Bible.

There were four epistles written by the apostle Paul that encapsulated those answers; Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians. In Galatians, she learned the meaning of God’s grace. Receiving that compels us all to live our lives with a grateful heart.  But who pays for it?  How can we afford to live that kind of life in God’s way? Enter Ephesians. It turns out believers are the richest people in the world. We are not left on our own to perform for God. Oh, no. We are here to watch God perform through us! He works through us individually, and collectively through all of us who choose to believe in Him. And then, gives us detailed instructions on how to fight to do it!

Beautiful examples of His faithfulness are presented to us in this book through the lives of her parents.  Their stories are woven into the narrative as well as others who failed to recognize the abundance that God was and is willing to lavishly give to every believing soul.

A study through Ephesians although not the longest of Paul’s epistles is conceded to be the most profound. There is a grandeur of conception a majesty and dignity, richness and fullness which belongs exclusively to it.

Where God has pre-vision, He has provision.
