A Study Through Ephesians
Diane was out to answer three questions; who am I, why am I here, and what am I supposed to do with my life. There was no doubt in her mind that the answers would be found in God’s Word. So in March of 2009, she set out on a journey to read and study the entire Bible.
There were four epistles written by the apostle Paul that encapsulated those answers; Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians. In Galatians, she learned the meaning of God’s grace. Receiving that compels us all to live our lives with a grateful heart. But who pays for it? How can we afford to live that kind of life in God’s way? Enter Ephesians. It turns out believers are the richest people in the world. We are not left on our own to perform for God. Oh, no. We are here to watch God perform through us! He works through us individually, and collectively through all of us who choose to believe in Him. And then, gives us detailed instructions on how to fight to do it!
Beautiful examples of His faithfulness are presented to us in this book through the lives of her parents. Their stories are woven into the narrative as well as others who failed to recognize the abundance that God was and is willing to lavishly give to every believing soul.
A study through Ephesians although not the longest of Paul’s epistles is conceded to be the most profound. There is a grandeur of conception a majesty and dignity, richness and fullness which belongs exclusively to it.
Where God has pre-vision, He has provision.
